NUTS...I'VE BEEN RATTED OUT!

While eating dinner the other evening, we looked out the window to see a squirrel eating berries off the bushes. He looked like a hybrid of our regular gray squirrels and the English red squirrels.

The problem is, I've been telling the kids those berries are poisonous to keep them from eating them until I can find out what kind of bushes/berries those are.

The kids were almost in a panic that the squirrel would drop dead in front of their eyes, but it was just fine. I had to tell them that only squirrels can eat those berries, but they're still poisonous to everyone else. (What are those bushes anyway!!!)

Dang the little rodent for ratting out my white lie!
