After returning from the corn maze, the kids had their first experience of raking and jumping in leaves. Living in coastal Oregon since our kids were born, our trees were mostly evergreen. We never accumulated enough leaves to makes mounds big enough to jump in. This experience was as thrilling for them as a visit to an amusement park. (BTW, that's the neighbor's trailer.)
Talea has made snow angels, sand angels, dirt angels, and now leaf angels.
Hyrum even got in on the fun.
Hyatt stripped his shirt off since the leaves were itching him under his shirt.
Heck with a barbie cake! Talea's leaf skirt looks about the same and requires much less effort!
Since it's almost Halloween, it's only appropriate that Talea should be buried in the front yard with her own tombstone.
