CORN MAZE FIELD TRIP
One cool thing about Talea's "virtual school" is that they have field trips almost monthly. This month is was to the corn maze.
Another cool thing is that all my kids get to attend the field trips with Talea!
She got to meet her teacher face-to-face too! Her teacher is Alicia Chalom. Her communication is always over the phone or online, so it was fun to see her in real life.
Here are all the students that attended the field trip. Kiersa and Hyatt jumped in on this picture also. Kiersa is on the far left front in a pink shirt, holding a bag of snacks. Hyatt is in the front middle, squatting down, in a black shirt, holding a bag of snacks. Talea is a couple kids to the right of Hyatt, also squatting down, inspecting something she found in the dirt, and holding snacks too.
I hate getting lost in mazes for long periods of time, but the corn maze wasn't too miserable because when the kids got bored, we just headed back and cut through some shortcuts and then ate snacks.
